If you follow me on Instagram (@velvetsedge), you probably know that this week was my birthday. I am not typically super into birthdays, especially as I have gotten older, but this year I decided to embrace it. It truly was an awesome day. I had a great work day, got some flowers from someone special 🙂 and then hit the town to have a party at my client, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row. Here are the top things that made this birthday one to remember, that would also be great assets for any night out or party!

Did ya’ll catch my post about two-pieces sets (here)?? Told you I am obsessed. I wore this one last night. You could totally wear these separate too… that is the best thing about sets! This top with some jeans, or the skirt with a white tank and it’s a whole new outfit.
…then all things that light up
Everyone loves a good party favor and glow sticks never disappoint.
My Favorite Drink: Casamigos Blanco Tequila.
I will never drink anything else…add some soda water and a couple of limes and you are good to go.
…and to recover. Charcoal pills. My go-to hangover cure.
Take these before bed and you help prevent a massive hangover the next day. Not saying you will want to go run a marathon…but you probably won’t have a headache or have your head in the toilet.
