The Key To Your Best Skin: PH Balancing

I feel like I’m constantly learning about different things we need to do for our skin to prevent aging and all the other things that help us from having the skin we want. Recently I’ve been hearing a lot about the importance of PH balancing your skin. I know and understand the importance of PH balancing our insides (click here for more on that), so it immediately made sense to me why our skin should be as well.

I always like to do my research and try things before I tell you guys about them. So, I did. I ordered a PH toner and used it for a month and a half. I was very surprised because the first thing to go away for me wasn’t wrinkles or sun spots, but it was the blackheads around my nose. I’ve tried religiously to figure out why this was happening. Wast it the products I was using? The food I was eating? I don’t fully know the answer, but it looks like there was definitely some skin imbalance that the PH balance toner evened out. My skin also feels tighter and brighter after use.

Skin pH Levels

According to Marie Claire and dermatologists, skin’s ideal pH balance is 5.5. At this level, it is working to it’s best. We all do things like using the wrong products or eating the wrong foods and so that makes our pH levels suffer causing…sensitivity, wrinkles, acne, inflammation, hyperpigmentation, and rosacea. Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner

This is my current favorite right now. I will not go without it.

Micellar Water

Tap water can easily unbalance your skin so cleansing your face with this is a better solution!
