Summertime and bathing suit season always make me up my workout routines. Even when I am traveling, I try to get in atleast a mini-workout it my hotel room if I can’t get to the gym. I am not a big boobed girl, so I tend to put a lot of focus on getting my booty right and tight.
I love Pure Barre and also circuit training when I am in Nashville (find my full workout routine here), but I swear these two simple moves have helped change and maintain my booty and keep it summer/bathing suit ready. They burn, but you can do them anywhere and are done in 12 minutes. Doesn’t get much better than that! I learned these years ago from my friend Olivia and try to do them atl east three times a week. 5 days on a good week just depending on what other workouts I do.
Donkey Kicks
I do 3 sets, alternating legs. 1 min each. Right leg, then left. Should take a total of 6 minutes! This video can show you proper form. Add ankle weights for an added push!
Fire Hydrants
Again, 3 sets, each leg. 1 min reps. These babies burn, but they are so worth it!
I discovered doing lunges with a plyo hop on a mini trampoline! Hurts, Oh So Good!
