I literally came up with the idea of using Christmas cards as ornaments because I have an abundance of Christmas cards and a sparse supply of Christmas ornaments. Somehow I can’t get around to purchasing hundreds of little round balls or birds…..maybe one day. For now, I only have the energy for minimal Christmas decor. I filled my live tree with white lights and used miniature clothes pins to hang the Christmas cards. I also found this natural wooden garland and wrapped the tree to fill it out a little more.
You can also add Christmas cards to your existing ornaments. IF you do it this way, don’t send me any photos of your spectacular, fully decorated tree. Because I feel pretty good about myself right now and wanna keep it that way. 🙂
