How Kelly Wore It: Rails Shirt Dress

I was a little late to the Rails shirt party. It wasn’t until this past summer where I received my first Rails shirt as a gift for my birthday, that I really began to understand the phenomenon behind the Rails obsession. I have since bought two more shirts and now this dress. The thing about Rails is that I kept putting off the purchase because I just don’t want to spend $100 on a button down. Seems absurd to me. However, once you wear it you change. For one, they are the softest shirts I own. Two, they look put together and cute and are really just throw-ons. Three, they are loose-fitting and just comfortable, even on those bad times of the month. So, the $100 ends up feeling well worth it once you see how often you wear the shirt. I for one wear mine ALL the time. So basically, combine my love for Rails shirts with the current trend of shirt dresses (find our post on them here) and you get this dress below.
