So, recently I have been working with this little bad ass named Aubrie Sellers. If you haven’t already heard of her, go check her out for legit the coolest female sound in country music right now. Her new album dropped last week and you will love it. Trust me. I created this look on Aubrie for her album release show because as I said, she rocks. Here are the steps and products I used, plus some tips for taking it to the streets! Put your hot sauce in your bag, buckle up and click the links to shop the products!

Eyes:

Start with Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion to hold the look in place

Apply ‘Blackout’ from Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette over entire lid and blend lines around crease

Next, use ‘Tease’ from the same palette to shade in crease and give eye definition. **Make sure to blend out all lines by using a circular motion with your eyeshadow brush

Layer, MAC Studio Eye Gloss in ‘Spank Me’ on top of lid. Do this using an eyeshadow brush and use sparingly. This is what gives the eyes that glossy look, but it can be messy if you use too much. I like to use just enough to cover the lid once.

Finish by lining inner rims with Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes in 01. I also applied strip lashes and two coats of Benefit ‘They’re Real’ Mascara.

Face:

I mixed MAC Strobe Cream with Makeup Forever HD Foundation for Aubrie. On me I just used my usual Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. It’s my favorite for my skin.

I used MAC Prolongwear Concealer on us both.

I set everything with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

Cheeks:

Started by giving cheeks a slight contour by using Benefit Hoola Bronzer and drawing a line with my bronzer brush from the top of my ear to the base of my cheekbone (basically where the apple starts) and then blending.

Next I used Urban Decay Naked Illuminated in ‘Aura’ on tops of cheekbones and up on my brow bone right below my brows and layered Benefit Waat’s Up Highlighter on top of that.

Finish with NARS The Multiple Stick in ‘South Beach’ on the apples of the cheek.

Lips:

MAC Lip Liner in Stripdown.

Tarte Lipstick and Gloss in ‘Park Ave. Princess’

Brows:

MAC eyebrow pencil in ‘Deep Brunette’

**Major tip for long lasting makeup, especially with such a heavy eye, once I completed the look, I sprayed the entire face with Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray.

Hope you guys give this look a try. Send me pics at [email protected]!
