A huge form of taking care of myself and my body for me is eating healthy. If you follow me on Instagram (@velvetsedge), you know that I love to cook, but you also know that I do not have much time available. I feel like I have mastered a few simple tricks to staying healthy regardless and feeding my body the things it needs to be fueled, but lately I’ve still been craving a good home cooked meal. Since nothing seems to be changing for me schedule wise, I decided I need to take another act of self care and ask for help on eating clean. Luckily there are a lot of companies and options available to us now that help with meal prep, cooking or even grocery shopping. Here is what my searches have found and the ones I use and plan to use!

Meal Prep Delivery
For those of us who love to cook, but don’t have the time to plan and shop for all the different ingredients a meal prep delivery plan is a good option. Most offer customization and different plans to fit your lifestyle. There are tons out there and here are a few that I’m excited about.
Sun Basket – Meals with organic produce + clean ingredients.
Purple Carrot – Plant-based, vegan meals. (recently voted healthiest meal plan)
Hungry Root – Clean-ingredient, nutrient-dense food that is quick and easy to prepare.
Life is busy and sometimes there’s just no time to spend in the kitchen. Even if you don’t have time to cook, eating clean is still a priority. The two companies offer completely cooked meals to be delivered right to door!
Nourish Foods Co. – Handmade, chef prepared meals with fresh and healthy ingredients.
Clean Eatz – Properly portioned sized meals with a balance of protein, carbs, and fats.
