This week on The Velvet’s Edge podcast, I had Laura and Maggie of OXB jewelry. OXB jewelry is entirely sweat, beach, showerproof. I was even able to sport one of their necklaces on my most recent trip to the beach. We talked about their journey of becoming friends and starting a business over one coffee date. During the pandemic, these ladies were able to grow their business by 1400% through E-Commerce. Their biggest advice was to just keep going. We also dove into the reality of being a woman-owned business. Turns out, running a company with a partner is all about a strong communication relationship, and compromise often comes into play, more like a marriage than friendship!
