Major Fashion Trend: How To Make The Monochromatic Look Work

The monochromatic trend has been all over the fashion world lately. As a recovering all black wearer, this trend really speaks to me because it allows me to stay in color palettes I feel comfortable in while also adding something different or a new feel. For instance, today I wore dark charcoal grey jeans, a light grey t-shirt and a medium grey suede moto jacket. All grey yes, but not boring and blah because the different shades of grey really do make the outfit interesting.

As of late, i have kind of been obsessing over nude hues for my transition into spring. From what I’m seeing, color is going to be huge for spring and summer, so I feel like I need a detox to prepare. I’ve put together some of my favorite pieces to make the nude monochromatic look work. Don’t stress over each piece of your outfit being exactly the same, the point is to choose a color palette and go with different shades in that palette. Have fun with it and comment below with any questions!

Three Ways to Style It
