Daytime Makeup Tutorial With Amy From The Bobby Bones Show

It’s always the best day when I get to work with someone who is not only my client, but also a friend. Thankfully, my dear friend (and client), Amy, from the Bobby Bones Show has been kicking butt lately and been extremely busy with photo shoots, red carpet events and a weekly hosting gig on Facebook live for the hit show Nashville. Lucky for me, her being busy, equates to me being busy in getting her ready and all things glam. We have both received messages about what I do to get her makeup ready for shoots, so we decided it was time to make a little video. We started with the look we do for her daytime gigs. See the video below for the breakdown of how to re-create the look and click the pics below to find links to the products I used!

Comment below with any other questions you may have. We are planning to make some more tutorials with different looks so let us know what you want to see!

  1. Maybe I missed it, but did you put mascara on her top lashes?
So that was A LOT of stuff… what would you suggest for a beginner?

    1. TOTALLY understand. Just start where you can! I would get a foundation that you like and then start easy with the eyes—there are tons of great pallets out there that match eye shadows for you already. I really love the NAKED pallets because they have everything from a nude shadow to something dark and sparkly in one place. You can just start playing around and slowly get more comfortable.

  2. I’m not a big makeup wearer. I have recently fallen in love with lash extensions and then just add some liner. I need skin help though. I hate my skin feeling like it has makeup on it. Any advice on something that evens out my tones but isn’t really a foundation?

    1. Have you tried a CC cream? I love the one from IT is light and great for days you don’t want to wear make up or you just want to feel super natural. PLUS it has sunscreen so it is a win-win. Hope this helps!

  3. Amy, you have beautiful skin and the male up just added to it. I have no make up skills of my own. This tutorial helps. Thank you.
