How To Get Long Lashes

I don’t know how it is in other parts of the world, but eyelash extensions are all the rage in Nashville. Although I personally do not have eyelash extensions, I love when my clients do. It makes my job so much easier and they look great on camera. If you are in Nashville and are interested in lash extensions, call Amy at Lash. I refer all of my clients to her because I think her lashes are beautiful, they stay on the longest and look the most natural. Find Amy here.

The reason I do not personally have lash extensions is for the shear reason of time and commitment. As I said a few blog post ago, I have hair extensions right now. I really can only commit to a certain amount of upkeep. Traveling all the time and working a lot, I just feel like I cannot add another thing to my list of things I have to go get touched up. So if I cut my hair off, maybe I will get lash extensions. It’s a tit for tat world for me.

In the meantime, I have wanted to grow my lashes a bit and I genuinely do believe that other than brows, lashes can be the biggest game changer in makeup. I clearly will not be apply false lashes everyday (could you imagine?) sooooo the next option is a lash serum. I’ve tried them all basically and these things do work. I kept hearing about the new serum from Rodan and Fields so I decided to give it a try. Here are my results, sorry for the extreme close up, but hopefully you can see the lash length better:

Lashes beforelashes afterI honestly noticed a HUGE difference after applying the serum for just two weeks.

Like I said I’ve tried all the other serums and they actually do work too. I did like that Rodan & Fields was at a lower price point than most of the other ones, because who wouldn’t like that. Also, the R & F (nickname basis) doesn’t make the top of my eyelids itch like some of the other ones and I also read that the results are supposed to last longer so you don’t have to buy a new tube as often. It is all a win/win for me. I’m a fan.

I got mine from my friend, Lauren. Email her at [email protected] or text her at 704-996-4242. This isn’t a sponsored post btw, these are just my thoughts and experiences and the place you can find it. Bloop.

Lastly, I get this question A LOT:

What’s your favorite mascara?

Hands down my favorite mascara is Rodial’s Glamolash. I curl my lashes then apply 1-2 coats and literally, my lashes have never looked so good. Click pics below to shop.
