What a crazy week it has been. I have worked, I have traveled, and now I am officially back in Nashville and couldn’t be more excited for a slow weekend at home. Here are a few of the things that got me through this week and also things I ordered online in my downtime. haha. What can ya do?
The Soul Filler
I am in a season of really focusing on myself and self love and getting back in touch with the person my Higher Power truly intended me to be. This book is one of the things really helping me to do that. It was gifted to me by a dear friend and has brought me so much peace everyday since I received it. No matter if you are religious or not, this book consists of prayers to read on different topics that for me have given me the peace to be present in each moment. Whether it’s a moment of risk, of sorrow or of anxiety. It’s all about being in touch with the moment, the feeling, honoring that and using it to grow. I highly recommend it for anyone.
The Summer Jean
I ordered these jeans from Madewell. They are a take on the “boyfriend” jean but they are less baggy and more straight legged. PLUS they are high waisted and a really great light denim color for spring and summer…
Tip: I was told to go down a size for when they give out.
The Cover Up
Bathing suit season is upon us and I feel like every single year I am trying to find the perfect coverup…anyone else with me? I like this one from Free People unbuttoned over a swim suit or as a coverup over jean shorts.
The Summer Jumpsuit
This just looks so comfortable to me. It looks like overalls but is more like a cotton romper/jumpsuit. Would be cute with a vintage tee or a tank under.
The Travel Saver
I have posted about my love for Bulletproof coffee and all of its benefits here.
