Over at April Tomlin Interiors we have been doing so many cabinets lately, I have been selecting hardware non-stop. So I decided to share my search with you guys.
I get so many questions about mixing metals and, in my experience, there are no guidelines. I love, love, love mixing metals, but it is more of a feeling of what will look good rather than a rule. I will say, if you have a polished nickel faucet in your bathroom or kitchen, DON’T BE AFRAID to do brass hardware.
One extra tip: My favorite silver hardware is polish nickel and polish chrome.

Silver: Rejuvenation >> Pulls Direct >> Paxton Hardware >> Rejuvenation >> CB2 >> Build.com
Matte Black: Pulls Direct >> Build.com >> Top Knobs >> Pulls Direct >> Pulls Direct >> Pulls Direct
One of my other favorite hardware tricks, is to use NO hardware. We did these custom cabinets and decided to not have any hardware. My personal vanity at home has similar cut out notches for opening with no hardware because I loved how this turned out so much.
