How To: Dress For In Between Seasons: Winter to Spring

It can be pretty difficult and maybe even awkward to figure out how to dress for the time in between seasons. We definitely have a hard time in Nashville during the winter to spring time because one day it is 60 degrees and sunny and the next day it is 17 degrees and flurrying…no joke.

Most people are sick of their winter clothes and the lack of color and are craving spring and sunshine and a closet switch-over.

I have put together a couple of looks to help you get through this awkward time…

The Longline Sweater

A longline sweater longline sweater is a great option because it can be used to keep legs warm as well and covers up the booty.

The Oversized Sweater & Jean Short

If you aren’t quite ready for shorts, this would be great with jeans too.

The Skirt

I’ll never stop wearing black. No matter what the season is!

The Longsleeve Dress

If you are worried this dress may be too short for you, throw over some skinny jeans or a legging.

The Pant

Y’all know I die for a kimono/duster over just about any outfit.

The Denim on Denim

I know some of ya’ll are probably a little weary about the denim on denim trend but I’m telling you now, I dig it and you should too. It can be done the RIGHT way and not look like a western cowgirl…Adding a belt breaks up the denim. If you are doing the oversized jacket, this tighter top will make it less-baggy.

I hope this helps ya’ll navigate your wardrobe during the next couple of months! I know Punxsutawney Phil said we are getting 6 more weeks of winter, but I am praying he is not accurate and Spring shows up early…
