The Secrets To My Healthy Hair

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Hair Food. The opinions and text are all mine.

Since Season 2 of Very Cavallari has come out, the number one thing I get messages from you guys about is my hair. I’ve been very open about the fact that I have extensions and I also suggest to everyone to find a hairstylist you love and trust, because my girls are amazing and know just what to do with my hair. Something else I do think is very important that a lot of people miss, is hair care. I talk a lot about how important eating clean and putting good things into my body is to me and that also goes for the products I put on my hair. I see so many people using products that strip their hair of good oils and add toxic pollutants to hair and then wonder why their hair doesn’t look healthy. It’s because it’s not

Every time I see my hairstylist, she tells me she is amazed at how long my extensions last and the shape they are in. My hair color and highlights are also the same. I personally believe it’s because I use hair products with no sulfates, no parabens, no dyes and no mineral oils.

Recently I’ve been using shampoo and conditioner from this company called Hair Food that’s whole goal is to feed your hair, like you feed your body. I purposefully wanted to work with them to educate you guys on products that will bring health, not harm to your hair.

I personally use the Coconut Milk and Chai Spice shampoo and conditioner and about every other week I do the nourishing coconut hair mask. It has made my hair (and my weave) super healthy and shiny and keeps me and my hairstylist happy.

I linked the products I use here. I recently found it at Kroger with a $5 rebate for every $15 you spend. So there you go, good deals too.

  1. I’ve watched every episode of Very Cavallari and you both look amazing. I’ve wondered what you put on your hair so I’m glad I found your blog and this post. Great job.
