My Must-Have Products For Award Show Makeup

Today is the CMA Awards in Nashville. I will be glamming Dierks Bentley and his wife, Cassidy. I also dressed Bobby Bones and Amy so be on the lookout for them as well!

While there are MANY products I love and will be using, these are the ones that I don’t think I could get through my award show days without!

Primer:

For long lasting makeup and smooth skin. Apply under makeup. Click pic for my favorite primer.

Eye Cream:

Especially needed: a fast acting one. This eye cream contains caffeine so it de-puffs and primes eyes within 15-20 min. Apply under makeup and let it do it’s magic.

Foundation:

I actually have been using this CC Cream instead of foundation. It photographs beautifully and works on all skin types. Click pic for link.

Highlighter:
Every girl wants that glow. The stick has a gold undertone, while the liquid is a little more white. Click pics below.

Powder:

Finishing any makeup look with just a slight bit of powder will help reduce shine and make the look last longer. I like a translucent powder in the t-zone and if you really want something light and warm, go with the mineral powder!

Setting Spray:

The biggest tool in helping makeup last all night and really sink into skin to avoid looking cakey. I have used this one for years and can’t stray.

Eyelashes:

Duh. Eyelashes and eyebrows are the biggest game changer in big night out makeup. It doesn’t have to be a crazy experience. Let glue dry on the lash until it’s a little tacky and then apply the lashes as close to the lash line as possible. Pro tip: curl your lashes before apply false lashes to help they meld together even more. My favorites below.

Extra Special Glow:

This shimmer spray highlights the beauty of the collar bone or exposed shoulder without being overkill. It also smells delicious so double win.

On the guy front:

My favorite hair product line for guys. I apply to damp and dry hair and set hair in place to style. Check product descriptions for which choice suits your hair type!

Also, for my guy Dierks Bentley these days……this is a must….

Beard Oil:
