A lot of you have requested a tutorial on how I get the beach waves in my hair. Ask and ye shall receive my friends. I enlisted the help of my pal, Amy from the Bobby Bones Show (who also rocks the beach wave fabulously), to make an easy how to video for you guys. Before:
To prep hair I always use a serum before I blow dry to keep hair shiny and healthy. I use Morroccan Oil which you can find here.
For a more cost effective version try this serum by It’s a Ten which you can find here.
During:
Amy and I both use Oribe’s Apres Beach Wave & Shine Spray while curling to help hair have wave and shine. Duh. Find it here.
Oribe products are my favorite, but also a bit pricey. Another option would be to use a workable hairspray on hair before curling, like this one by Loreal found here.
After:
My absolute favorite hair product is Oribe’s Dry Texture. It is the perfect finishing touch for beach waves. Find it here.
